Can anyone give me any tips for travel in Castelfefells Spain? What is the best means of transportation??

May 16th, 2012

I've never been to Castelfefells Spain, but one of the best websites I've ever found for any trip is http://www.tripadvisor.com The site gives reviews, answers questions, and gives you lots of information about pretty much anywhere you can travel to. The information is given by people who have traveled there themselves. I have found it very useful.Hope it helps! 6 years ago Thanks, that helped a lot

Do you know of a program that offers the option of living in Spain and learning the Spanish language?

May 16th, 2012

- Chosen by Voters CULTURE AND LANGUAGE EXCHANGE SUMMER PROGRAM IN BEAUTIFUL AND SAFE SPANISH BEACH RESORT My sister and I participated in the most amazing program in the most beautiful and safe beach resort in Spain called Santander. The program was so well organized and planned out so smoothly that we loved it there. Castilian is spoken and also we were so busy all the time with so many fun activities, so enriching we learned lots! We would attend classes in the morning mostly conversational and in the afternoons we had activities such as a bullfight, dance classes, a dinner out at the fishermen´s quarter, boat excursion… and then once a week there was a full day excursion to beautiful places of great interest such as the Guggenheim Museum, a hike along a Roman Route, middle age village, fishermen´s quarter, etc… all while living with a wonderful and caring host family. The greatest thing about this program is that they offer the possibility, only if your choice at no extra cost of coming with a friend to stay with, at same host family home, although if you want to live on your own that is possible, too. Also, they can guarantee for you to stay in a host family who has kids similar in age as you. It´s a fantastic program and I cannot stress enough the wonderful staff, the great classes, and the nice people. We also had time to go to the beach each day! As it is a beach resort, just right there. It´s fantastic that not many people know about this still undiscovered spot in Spain! And for this reason extremely safe. Contact them as ask them to email you their beautiful SLIDE SHOW. You will love it!!!! It´s amazing! Have fun and good luck. And the program is www.beautifulspain.com 5 years ago 100% 1 Vote

I'm traveling to Spain, and someone told me theft is popular?

May 16th, 2012

By staying at an apartment I'm guessing you're possibly staying with a host family? I spent four months in Spain living with a host family and never had a problem, typically host families have been checked out before they have people stay with them. If you are staying in a hostel you may want to be a little more careful, such as asking if they have somewhere for you to secure valuables and keeping valuables on your person or out of sight. Out in public pickpockets are more of an issue than they are in the states. Don't carry things in a backpack, it's too easy for someone to open it without you knowing or slit the bag to get things out. The advice I was given by the program I studied with over there was to carry a purse over my shoulder and hold on to the strap while I was in public and have your arm covering the opening (preferable an opening secured with a zipper). That way no one can reach in to grab something or grab it from you easily. Finally, try to blend in with the locals – thieves will expect foreigners to be easier targets. Spain has people from all over the world so your skin/hair/eye color won't give you away as a foreigner, your behavior will. Speak Spanish as much as possible (even if you only know a few words use them, the locals will appreciate the effort and will be more friendly), Americans are often seen as being loud and obnoxious so try to be a little quieter in public, and try to dress like the locals. They tend to dress up a little more over there – you don't have to dress up a ton just try to look a little nicer than usual. Avoid things like sweatshirts, old t-shirts, tennis shoes (they are called athletic shoes over there and that is all they are used for – athletic purposes) and most importantly shorts (shorts are appropriate for small children and at the beach only – not near the beach only when you are actually AT the beach in the sand!). 3 years ago Thank you so much!I will be sure to take into account all that you said.<3

IS IT DANGEROUS TO TRAVEL TO SPAIN???!!!!?

May 16th, 2012

About the volcano I don't know if the ashes are going to be over Spain on 11th June, so perhaps you shouldn't worry about it. and don't think about any catasthropie like the Japan one because it issure it's not going to happen anything like that.I agree with the other answerer: if you are going to b worried all the time you won't enjoy the trip so perhaps you should cancel it. Anyway, if you relax you'll spend a great time! 7 months ago Haha, yeah! U guys are right! Im going to try to not get the trip canceled. Actually its rather my mom thats worried, its more likely thats she'll be the reason for cancelling it. Hope she wont!!!!Thanks for the answers, all of u!!

What does my dog need to travel from spain to ireland.?

May 15th, 2012

I dont know about over there but I know in the US you have to have health papers that show evidence of current vaccines, show that you dog is internal and external parasite free (fleas and worms), and that your dog is healthy enough to travel. You need to know any requirements that different states (countries) have that you will travel through so your dog and you are protected if someone stops you anywhere on your trip. I hope this helps but like I said these are the standard protocol here in the US. Good luck. Source(s): former vet tech 5 years ago thanks for that info can research which countries need what paper work thanks.
